A PM is so so so low on the corporate ladder bro, you are unnecessarily giving them a lot of credit. Believe me, they can't make or break a product, they are not the decision makers to release the product into the market, rt?. R&D teams in most companies are very very diverse. As you said, it is hard for public companies to be aggressive and innovative. Intel, MSFT, Cisco etc. fall under this category. They might have the vision but these companies have become so big that is is like a few mini companies under one competing against each other rather than collaborating. i think it is because of clarity in vision, anthaku minchi emi ledhu. they are trying to compete with everyone in every product. I dont believe they are the same. To be on facebook, you are asserting what ever you post is truthful to the core. You have to be yourself and this can be assured by your friend network.
