antha undadu. if you notice FB is mostly organically grown. they might acquire here and there but those would not be already public. as for who they impact, cannot say, but google would lose the status of "the most prominent internet company" status. if they are not careful, they will be yahoo to FB. Googles biggest risk is, people have stopped creating valuable web content unlike in the past. so the utility of search results will diminish over a period of time. if all that is there is nonsense, even the best search engine has to return nonsense. most of the valuable content will be trapped inside silos such as Stackoverflow, Quorum, Reddit etc. not the open public web. my guess is Google will start acquiring these content islands. all opinions expressed are mine and only mine. not to be attributed to the other IP address sharers, my employer, or any other human, animal, robot or alien. | ||
