Tarun only got success in Love stories
Mahesh got sucess only in Family and Action entertainers only.

where has pawan has more similarities with tarun. they both got sucess in love stories that 2 within same time frame. late 1990s and early 2000 are good time for lover boy charcaters.

we can compare pawan, tarun with udaykiran also.

Tharun has a very good voice. Great modulation. Even Jeevi wondered if it was Tharun or someone dubbing in Nuvve Kavali. Tharun rocked in dancing in his first film.

Tharun has no camp/base, so he faded after flops. Tomorrow, even if Ram Charan gave 11 straight flops, he will not fade out, just like Abhishek Bachchan. Mahesh babu too has no worries.

Both are good actors. Tharun beats Mahesh in voice modulation, dancing and in sentiment scenes(natural). Have never seen him in action like Mahesh.

Mahesh wins hands down when it comes to popularity, his own and Krishna's handover. Again, Mahesh is like Abhishek Bachchan... he can go years with flops, and will still be in the industry.
