Puri Jagannadh is one of those unusual film directors who has intensity in every emotion he expresses. It could be love, violence, comedy, sentiment but everything comes with a punch. And recently, he delivered the same and melted the hearts of some really hardcore men. Well, Puri visited the Charlapally jail on the eve of Republic Day and interacted with the inmates for quite a while. He was accompanied by both his kids and some of his statements brought tears to the inmates. In one instance, Puri mentioned âTerm in a jail should be treated like âVanavasamâ then it eases the burden.â He also added âSaying this could be easy, but I was also in jail for 2 days and that was good enough for me.â He stated on the importance of freedom for any individual and how fate, destiny and neglect tends to land many in the jail. While he spoke with compassion, whatever he said gave good impression on the inmates and the humane side of them was revealed.
