We masked the ceiling edge with tape, but painting the top of walls with a brush was not clean. This is the tool I was talking about. | ||

Deeni kanna kuda using 2-3 inch tape on the ceiling is faster as you can use your large roller and do the corner with a brush though taping is a lil bit more expensive Emc, Walls chesetappudu you need about 2 ft space in front for the stepladder and supplies - i use the tarp i have to cover the 2ft along the floor so move furniture to the center - i don't bother covering furniture unless i am doing the ceilingBeauty is life when life unveils her holy face. To add more: Get a wheel-edge roller/pad. It helped a lot painting the top edge of wall, protecting the ceiling from getting any paint. | ||

Next time remove the switch/ outlet plates before painting - finishes much cleaner than taping them. Also another lesson learned is to take tape off before the paint sets completely otherwise parts of the paint peels off with the tape esp if you use satin/ semigloss paint Crimson - how did your husband take it ? Painter's tape helps a lot. Go slowly around the outlets if you want to save time. Don't rush. I was careless and regret a lot of the mistakes I made while painting a room. That too, with dark crimson paint. It's a very tiring job. Easiest part is the painting. The prep and cleaning is the toughest. Make sure you have some help. | ||
