If at all seperate telangaana forms, nothing will happen to settlers and nothing will happen to properties of ysr and cbn. Hyd lo, lacchala mandhi marwaadi vaallu unnaaru. vaallaki leni fikar, ysr and cbn ki endhuku? If and when TRS comes to power, they will be real busy to share the bounty than worry about people (be it telangana or someother part). A party that can not keep its MLAs intact for 4 yrs, can not rule a state for 5 yrs, for sure. | ||

It is very difficult to imagine that a YSR or CBN would carve out a Telangana and hand it over to KCR or whoever...specially in the background of Real Estate. Most of their fortunes are in Hyderabad...so they have a vested interested in retaining their land...Same is the case with many other ministers/ex-ministers..who do not belong to Telangana... The real estate prices will depend on other factors also. If any of the industries that have caused the hype/increase in real estate prices in Hyderabad like IT or ITES go elsewhere and succeed (like say Vizag), then there might be some significant effect... the rest of the industries are not going anywhere...because they were not setup for any advantage... There might be some initial shock as such, because settlers in Telangana would like to hedge their position and may end up buying land near the other capital of Andhra also...which has happened a bit..in phases in the last few years... Even if Telangana comes, the only people who are going to be benefited to begin with would be, the rulers of the state. For the people it may not really mean anything for the first few years. | ||
