One of the commenter beneath the article says



"The median home price in Palo Alto is $1.25 million. Not only is that a small, old house but it's over 10x these kids annual salaries.

The median home price in Des Moines is just $100,000. An average high school graduate in the midwest has a higher standard of living then a Facebook engineer living in Palo Alto.
