The film has earned a worldwide 1st week opening of around 13 Crores. Nagavalli with around 12Cr is the best for Venky so far, but Bodyguard crossed it comfortably competing with a mammoth all time record opener Business Man. With 2 consecutive senior heroes films failed to rake in big numbers ( SRR & Rajanna ) inspite of positive buzz, Venky`s Bodyguard is a big relief and indicates there is till something left for them. Although Sankranthi helped the film, competition with BM definitely nullifies that advantage | ||
