mav, total cals burnt depends on body weight and the METS you "generate"...METS depends on resistance, speed combo but if I am at a very high resistance, my speed goes down and I see my total cals cnt come down a bit coz my METS are less more than avg speed i hit around 430, with high resistance low speed i hit 50 less than usual ustad bhayya is bigger than me anukuntaaa bottom line comparision is not a big deal |

then its very difficult to do stregnth gains..u have to accept some body fat to gain strength.. ayithe do one thing.. pick one main excercise for body part and do 5x5, then do high volume for rest of the work out..and eat little more than maintenance..this should keep a check on fat |

Humpty sorry just saw your thread.. r u looking for just pure strength? ofcourse strength training will give u hypertrophy, but u might gain some fat..is that ok? or you just want to do body recomposition? it all depends on your goals. if you ask me I would suggest mixed training..food is important and your body changes based on your macronutrients. strength increase ante you have to eat a lot..atleast 500-700 K cal more than your maintenance. if you dont eat, you cant perform in gym and strength will not increase. having said that, routines are not that important here. you can gain stregth on almost any average routine on internet as long as you are consistent with your food. hope u got it |

@Kimura i go to sport and health @gaithersburg rio deads, squats etc waatiki posture antay relevant description chadivi...easy wts range lo start cheyyali... if there is pain and it is due to muscle contraction then i guess we are ok... if something else like a pulled muscle or joints pain ...then need to revisit how to do and what we are doing anukuntunna |
