There is a huge decline in the collections (First Day - 9.03 crores, Second Day - 3.97 crores) of Mahesh Babu's Businessman. Though the makers of the film claimed that all the tickets for the first four days have been sold out even before the release with the advance booking facility, that didn't reflect in the collections and eventually raising many doubts. One reason for the huge decline is because of another big release 'Bodyguard', which stars Venkatesh and Trisha, in the Sankranthi race. Few section of audience (Family) have decided to stay away from 'Businessman' due to the Adult content, despite the film having a Universal Star like Mahesh Babu in the lead. Instead, they are preferring 'Bodyguard', which is touted to be a clean family entertainer. As of now, the chances of Businessman crossing Dookudu collections look bleak. | ||

You r right Bro..but times are changing. As generations are passing by, public is getting more impatient...they crave for a new craze too soon nowadays..Life span for a Superstar reign has only been coming down. If Mahesh can defy odds & still rule after 50+ then great!

All good things must come to an end. It happenned after NTR went to politics & Chiru arrived. Now Chiru left to Politics & Mahesh has filled the vaccuum. However all said & done, his rein might not be as long as the 2 legends. Babu is already 36, glamour & youth centric roles can be done for a max of 5-7 yrs. After tht Charan/NTR or any other young talent shall be ready to take over. Also, Babu needs to deliver hits consistently. Anywayz, its great that we have some good talent in TFI, things shall only get exciting. | ||

Its looks End of Mega Era. By looking at DB threads, BM looks big hit, so Mahesh become Official Uno. I didn't find any big hit movies coming from Pawan and Charan,So this is End of Mega Era domination in film industry. AA never considered in Number game race. Racha already declared flop by its delay. GS also going in same path. |
