I endorse this. In india nobody has birth certs straight. For example, school records have one date, mother says one date, aunt says one date and cousin says another date. problem is compounded because there are no original records, no hospitals, and people did not always follow the Julian Calendar. on top of that, most schools/exams have stupid low age restrictions. So looks like the General's age was added a year to enable him sit for the NDA exam.
