I can see some improvement. When I started 3 months ago...I could barely run for 3 mins at 5 MPH. Now, I can run 7 mins. @ 6 MPH at a stretch or 11 mins. in two sets of 6 and 5 mins. Similarly, I started with 300 cals in 30 mins on elliptical. Now, I do 650 cals in 45 mins  Fan of Fab 5: Sachin, Rahul, Saurav, Laxman and Kumble.

on avg, a medium intensity wts wrkt will burn 200 cal per hr so it will still help your weight loss while increasing muscle % it is not good to target arms only ani naa opinion meeru >1hr cardio set chesaaru kadha..transfer some mins to wts floor inka "cardio" intensity antay while doing BB squats, i feel I am at a very high HR in between sets |

I am not much focused on weight training...main target is cardio and losing weight. I just added biceps and triceps for a change & I think my arms are a touch weak and I am trying to improve it. Fan of Fab 5: Sachin, Rahul, Saurav, Laxman and Kumble.

Ustad: This is what I do on treadmill
as I said before, as long as you see progression it is good I am not a runner myself ...some1 like goonda can pitch in with good advise but i was a very poor runner and improved a lot currently this is what i follow for cardio one whole week i will run around 30 mins and then do treadmill/stair master for 20 mins next week i will do the reverse in both, the second cardio workout is more like a non HIT one, i try to have my HR at fat burn range as opposed to the first one ( >155) in between i spend a day for my lower body strength excercises, which will help in my cardio some where along the line i read that any cardio u do for over 40 mins is not really helping you as ur body gets use to it |

if you starting with wts, work towards a stronger core bro bench press, pushups, lat pull down, dead lifts, shoulder press, aquats...iyi compulsory if your main muscles are strong, bicep tricep will become strong automatically if getting ur arms pumped is ur target, you can change ur routine - sets and reps where arms are highly complementary |

This is what I do on treadmill, let me know if I can fine tune this: start with 3.4 MPH and 0 incline. After 3 minutes, 3.6 MPH and 3 incline. At six minutes mark, start running @6MPH and 0 incline. After running for 6 mins, back to 3.5 MPH at 3 incline. At 21 mins mark, start running again for 4 mins last 5 minutes from 3.5 MPH and 3 incline to 3 MPH 0 incline. Yes. I started non-cardio stuff only from past few days. This is what I did yesterday: 1. 3 sets of Biceps 2. 3 sets of triceps 3. 45 mins ellitical 4. 30 mins treadmill I am planning to interchange 1 & 2 with lat pull and shoulder press. Fan of Fab 5: Sachin, Rahul, Saurav, Laxman and Kumble.
