My case: Day 1 - Went to civil surgeon's office...did physical exam, TB skin test and doctor advised to get MMR and TDAP (tetanus) vaccine. Gave blood for some other tests. Day 2 - Went to healthcare provider medical center, they advised me to go for blood test and they also found a record that I took TDAP in 2010. They took blood for test. Day 3 - Went to civil surgeons office, TB test negative. Went to medical center, got report that I am immune to MMR (hurray, no need to take vaccine). Day 4 - Submitted report @doctors office, will get report on day 5 i.e. tomorrow. Doctor is charging 150/person. Fan of Fab 5: Sachin, Rahul, Saurav, Laxman and Kumble. | ||

TB skin test is included in the immigration exam fee, along with blood test for Syphilis(I think!). Not sure about X-Ray for TB Test. i don't think it comes under preventive care. Nee deductible and % meeda depend avuthundi anukuntaa. For example...vaccinations are covered, but titer tests for vaccinations are not 100% covered (naa case lo ayithey after deductible 80% coverage). Yes, Civil surgeon exam and filling the form is not covered. But vaccinations, and TB test should be covered anukuntunna. Vaccines bayata veyinchukuntaa emi veyinchukovaalo list teesuko. same day or 2nd day, go to a place covered by your insurance and get the vaccinations 3rd day civil surgeon - vaccination records choopinchu, TB skin test results... Mana luck baaguntey Doc lite antaadu, ledantey chest X-ray antaadu. Naaku telisi it costs $50 if you get it done right there. I don't think this comes under preventive care. Even if it does, why waste time go to someother place and delaying the paper work. Nothing related to immigration exam with Civil Surgeon is covered by insurance. PERIOD.
