Anand_n: when you lose the focus - you basically lost the address pointer to a memory and forget it
agreed. two way link. you forget something for no rhyme or reason sometimes even though you did not want to. and then you can easily focus on something else. |

Bushu:I do. but it is not about space. it's about focus. when you forget something, you are free to focus on a new thing. memories dont disappear, they are just pushed down the rank order.
Isn't it the other way - when you lose the focus - you basically lost the address pointer to a memory and forget it aa chal ke tujhe main leke chalu ik aise gagan ke tale jahan gam bhi na ho, aansoo bhi na ho,bas pyaar hi pyaar pale |

Even for that...forgetting what hurts reduces stress- forgetting what you need to remember increases stress - and stress impacts the brain That aside - how do you validate what is good for the brain? aa chal ke tujhe main leke chalu ik aise gagan ke tale jahan gam bhi na ho, aansoo bhi na ho,bas pyaar hi pyaar pale |

I140: When you forget something, that mean that it is giving space to new thinking and new data..
not true...however on a lighter note this is not really an issue for men as they can retain/remember things with great difficulty and very important for women who tend to retain even trivial incidents |
