No difference. Putting it before router introduces one more device to passthru traffic. If the device fails (for whatever reason), none of the client can get on internet. Putting it after will isolate the issue to OOMA. | ||

OOMA is similar to vonage modem. You can either connect it before or after the router. Just to make things easy, connect ISP modem to Netgear router. On one of the router's ethernet ports, connect OOMA device. This was, OOMA does not passthru your internet traffic. | ||

During the setup I already created 2 different SSIDs. Desktop and my iptv connected thru wired (i need to verify this... which ssid/band is using) and laptop/ipad/iphone connected thru wireless(used 2.4ghz). Onemore. I have OOMA connection. So connected modem to OOMA and router added to OOMA. Is this right way? (previously I had same setup) Thank you buddy. I will do this research and let you know tomorrow. | ||

@Good, Login to router and you should see configuration for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz radios. Give them different SSIDs (like hotspot and hotspot_media). Restrict 5Ghz band for 802.11n clients only. 2.4Ghz band should handle, all other clients. Install NetMeter on a PC hard wired to router and on a laptop connected over wifi. Do Speed Test on wired and wireless machines. See how much through put you are getting. If you post the results, I can assess if there is anything wrong. | ||

OLEDs have severe pixel retention issues and smaller lifetime when compared to LEDs. Last 1 year lo tech vipareethamgaa improve ayyindemo telidu kaani, thats the matter. That's because, it is new generation. Prices will come down with mass production. Back in '02, floor-standing, 300 pounder, CRT Rear Projection TVs ruled the big screen war. I bought this Sony LCD RPTV for 5K. It was the first 60" table-top model weighing about 150 lb. Now, it looks like a monster. | ||

OLED is really good, when I saw in person. So far, they could only make screens up to 21" as a POC. But, the cost involved is really high to bring it to masses. LG and Sammy are going announce 55" OLED this week, at CES. It will be a wallet-shock for early adopters. | ||
