i don't have any doubts in your analysis... i know my bet is risky one.. i won't play with that much money... i will play with 500 to 1000 max... risk of loosing is limited... earnings time is like going to casino for me... MON paid off... I am not think JPM will go up ani... i am guessing that will go down... i have seen atleast 4 earnings times... it will go up on the very next day and come down immediately.... all opinions expressed here are mine.. please follow at your own risk.... | ||

Not quite !! In my opinion, it is a high volatility bet, for this trade to make any money, the stock has to move significantly in either direction and when the expiration is as near as it is for the JPM ( when Financials soared recently) if the earning are right on target there is every chance that we loose on both sides of the trade. Looking at the Option prices, the stock has to move over $1.5 for us to make any money, as the time between earnings announcement and expiration is less than 5 trading days. Trade looks like a gamble to me. Alcoa on the other hand is a cyclical and may follow general market direction/sentiment. Not sure what is you intended trade on this underlying. | ||
