from yahoo WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Democrat Barack Obama has opened an 8-point national lead on Republican John McCain as the U.S. presidential rivals turn their focus to a general election race, according to a Reuters/Zogby poll released on Wednesday. Obama, who was tied with McCain in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup last month, moved to a 48 percent to 40 percent lead over the Arizona senator in May as he took command of his grueling Democratic presidential duel with rival Hillary Clinton |

Telugu_times:Yes. They both agreed at that time. Those are dem party rules/guidelines. If you held primaries before the scheduled dates, they are null and void. Both Fl and MI knew it, before they went for polls. why cry now? Also, each party has different rules/guidelines. Reps primaries are winner takes all, while dems primaries are NOT winner takes all. Then why make it an issue now
when florida & michigan voters requested howard dean, he said he will respect florida & michigan suporters. This penalty rule is not something party fundamental rule. this is teh first this rule has been used. truth is big shots of dem party are against clinton family. they are comfortable with obama. thats it. |

savage, you are right, but dems are in a pretty deep hole. Hillary won crucial states in prelims, alaagani, dem party can not assign the ticket to billary, coz that is not only constitutional, but also backfire among kallu voters. |
