nobody knows the future. if someone says they know, do not trust them. world has become too complex and a vastly unified chaotic automata, that no single prediction can last more than a few days. so, it is anybody's guess. you can have broad predictions that: - the universe will be there - countries/govts/currencies/visas will be there - life expectancy will go up by 20 years - people work till 75 and some 80 later on - people will have non-human companions (robots etc) to drive them around, groom, assist - yard stick of success may not be money, but the ability to live longer and healthier - education will be automatic, as there is no need to acquire knowledge, so people will focus on acquiring skills - institution of marriage may not survive, religious communes will replace families much later on - people will have nothing to do for others, except medicine and medical related fields - peoples only focus is on how to be alive, much like an enlightened animal. people will live on small personal farms, they grow their own food. ------------------- Like i said, do not believe when some one talks about future. all opinions expressed are mine and only mine. not to be attributed to the other IP address sharers, my employer, or any other human, animal, robot or alien. | ||

antha ledu aa rojullo. that was a vastly different india. india transformed dramatically after introducing the TV widely, starting 1995. before then, a very conservative impractical moribund society, yet people were not entirely unhappy. society was not affluent. even rich were deprived. the struggle was always to escape. thats why so much of escapism can be found in literature, movies, dram etc during those days. in such situations it is hard to seek and find some one you like, fall in love, and make a life. the tremendous amount of uncertainity wasn't simply conducive. so every one followed the tried and tested route of AM. all opinions expressed are mine and only mine. not to be attributed to the other IP address sharers, my employer, or any other human, animal, robot or alien. | ||
