If these guys take over their respective dads' empires, every decision they take will impact thousands of employees, partners etc, in a positive or a negative manner isn't that leaving a mark? How difficult and what are the odds of an average guy with good acads to get to that point. Think as a school admissions committee who is looking at students mark sheets, recommendations and a bunch of essays and trying to decide who they'd like have as thier Alum. What they can predict is George Bush senior's son will have higher chances of making it big in life than an average guy with better academic credentials. In US Universities, Academics is only part of it. If you have good recommendations, good background, and good Goals letter (Dont remember what is it called), you can get into good schools. I hope, most of you are well aware of the process as at some point you have gone thru this process as well). Please remember Dr Raja Reddy was at CMU and so many other prominent Telugu People. Dont you think those people miht have recommended him? These recommentaitons are better than money. CMU is not like Engineering schools in Karnata and TN where they sell seats for money in management quota. | ||
