Its around 2-3 years when they understand the difference between a BOY and a GIRL. until then, it may be a puzzle for them. But, after they realize the difference between a BOY and a GIRL, they will not ask these questions anymore. until then, try to keep him packed in diapers. If she still asks, tell her that for babies, it would be like that and you will know when you grow up. So, you need to drink a lot of milk to grow up. |

Tell her that her brother is a 'boy' and she is a 'girl'. Tell her that 'boys' body looks different from 'girls'. And there ends the matter. :-) My son is 9 years old, and he had his first class yesterday at school about puberty, bodies, and growing up. He came home and asked me 'why doesn't girls have Penis?'. You have just started and lots of stuff to look forward to. :-) |

I have a 2 year+ old daughter and 6 months old son...My baby is very enthusiastic and wants to learn and explore everything like every kid of her age...She keeps asking me "what is this" and "what is that"...we have all patience to explain her and she keeps repeating it and tries to use it in context...Well now a days she points out at boy bits of her brother and looks us for answers...we are bit emberassed...Have you ever been in such situations and how did you deal it? Or if you were us, how should we deal with it? Please refrain from making fun of my kids, it surely hurts... Also, by the time you get to the end of this sentence, you will realise it is just my signature.
