removed the power cables and put them back. Now BD->tv is working fine | ||

tried connecting BD directly back to TV, stopped working  tried switching hdmi cables..but no luck any idea what's the problem? | ||

Looks like upscaling is not issue. Try a different HDMI port on the receiver (which you know is working). | ||

Bypass the receiver. Connect bluray player to TV and play directly. If it works, then receiver is culprit. Does your tv accept 1080p? I remember, there is a setting in Pioneer receiver to upscale video to 1080p. If your tv does not support that resolution, you may see this error. You can change the upscale setting on receiver to 1080i, instead. | ||

mine is 46c750 - hdmi arc input is also cool... so if i play movies through netflix on tv then it send the audio through same hdmi | ||

Simba, Got infy speakers today..hooked 'em up with pioneer 1021..played audio and video songs from ipod..good bang for the buck! However, I am not able to play blurays thru bluray player->receiver->tv when i selected BD input, it says resolution not supported on tv, tried all available resolution..still no luck. Any pointers on this can be resolved. TIA. |
