When you look far at things they look small. When you go near to them , then u will know the reality of them. Similarly when you think about movie it looks easy from outside. But when u make a movie 100's of factors count. So movie is not just based on single mind. Its a collective of minds that work on a common platform with trust and instinct. Director : When you think of few directors we create certain impressions or opinion. So if we think about Vishnu vardan (1st thing style comes in mind) He has extended his style factor in panja in 1st half and towards end of second half. Story : ok (i dont see anything wrong if a such similar stories have occured in the past in the lines of Balu or Antham etc) because when same picture(potrait) is viewed by 2 people it can be interpreted differently. So a similar story can be experimented in varied ways in each individuals POV (point of view) Comedy : nothing much (anyway this sort of intenese gangster flick dont need comedy) Music :GOOD . BGM is also nice 1st song Anjala lavina (hot sexy sexy) 1st song Set is great that reflects like French art or renisance ......... very grand set looking very royal 2nd song Pawan kalyan and his love Sarah janes (shot nicely & different) Last song Panja theme song (comes in end of movie after final credits. (this song could have been place in start of film with some montage shots reflecting story or hero character) ACTION/FIGHTS : Nice in 2 or 3 SCENEs. esp (fight in second half at the woods , with morning fog) 1st half : started with interesting note. Then again when advi sesh enters into the story its interesting with his sadist character till he dies Note : the 1st half environment , locations , setting all look fresh and different 2nd half : I did not like at all the village atmosphere nor the village story. After village towards end hero comes back to city to take revenge from there it is ok But last scene where pawan shoots jackie , jackie shoots pawan girlfriend (This shot making or the way the whole episode is shot in slow motion is excellent Really well made) Hero: pawan is fine. not great nor not bad just nice under sublte acting Special mention : Advi Sesh (looking good and did good job as sadist and bad guy) Actress : sarah jane ( i did not liked her) Anajala lavania (malyali babe) wow what a surprise. She is sexy and slutty. Loved her attitude in her character. She is tempting I liked the scenes where Advi sesh harass her and the way she reacts. Her role as bar girl is perfect. I dont say panja is a great film but still u can watch it once........................... BEST part of panja : Style . 2 songs ROCKING visually , music etc . Pawan kalyan. few action scenes. Advi Sesh scenes BAD part of panja : second half village episode , (i wish the director must have made the film in urban or city) , predicatble plot NOTE : DB FOLKS CAN WATCH PANJA COOLY once for Style . 2 songs ROCKING visually + music. Pawan kalyan. few action scenes. Advi Sesh scenes and ofcourse for anjala lavania & lastly for the last climax scene (shot really well in slow motion) Planning to watch Panja for 2nd time for 1st half of the film + last one climax scene |
