Sri_anji:Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED-IF AF-S VR DX Zoom Nikkor Lens
That's a great lens, but works for DX format. If you are spending more than $500, get the FX version. In future, if you upgrade camera (from DX to FX), this lens will still work. DX = APS-C or mini version. DX format camera can use DX and FX lenses. FX = Full frame. FX format camera can use FX lenses only. Here is the link to FX version of this lens. |

If you planning to spend good money on lenses, go with higher aperture. Same focal range with lower aperture lenses are much cheaper. Pay attention to aperture. |

technically both 4GB and 250GB XBOX models are same except for storage. if you planning to store games/media inside the console, you need bigger HD model. For me, I will take 4 GB model for the deal. I got 30GB model for PS3 and did not even fill half the hard disk. All my media (photos/video) stay on server (outside), so I don't use PS3 hard disk at all. |

If you are comparing two bottom models in canon/nikon, it does not matter which way you go. Use the dSLR for few years then you know what features you need/missing and get the higher model. Basic models are pretty much same. |

Even after 2 years of high usage, it can fetch $500 on eBay. Camera bodies lose value quickly bit lenses retain. Invest in good lens and you can use for years... |

buy a cheap canon dslr and practice with it...its more an art and not the equipment which matters..if you really want to spend so much then go ahead and buy a canon eos 7d...its pretty good.... its useful if you can spend a lot of time with it and learn to mess with manual settings...most people buy a dslr and take photos in automatic mode...that's ridiculous |

there is a saying photography world.. invest on glass(lens) rather than on metal.. lens prices remain same they will not come down with time where as camera prices go down..lens 10 yrs old probably lose around 5-10% of their price, whereas the cameras lost 90% |
