led is good in bright places and consumes very less power than plasma .. Also they are light and you can hang on wall easily for watching non hd channels , buy a av receiver which will up convert your signal into hd.. | ||

I thought that the 16:9 setting would be the same, except with a little overscan cropped from the edges. That's basically true, but it forces the TV to scale the remaining pixels to it's native resolution of 1920x1080, so you no longer get true 1080p (or 1080i for that matter). as mrhyder endorsed... go for plasma if you have a really bright lit room due to sunlight from huge windows which are always open, you can consider LED coz of the spruced up extra brightness sundays antha nenu TV kee athukupoyee untaa...mine is a plasma i notice considerable difference when watching on LED/LCD at friends' place...extra lighting, unreal colors, image drag/trailing ( which could be less now due to latest tech) | ||

Mamalu on the same topic my old TV died 2 days back...planning to get a 55 inches I watch lot of Sports on HD and Netflix movies So the question is should i get a LED or get a Plasma. I went to frys the sales rep says LED is best for sports...i went to best but the sale guy says Plasma is best as it is 600 hz I saw both LED and Plasma and found in LED the brightness is better compared to plasma. But the price is almost 400+ difference between Panasonic plasma vs Samsung 6000 so guys please share you experience and recommend some good Tv's and deals | ||
