This is the amount of energy your body burns on a daily basis, to get you through your daily activities of living...so, if u eat around 2100 cals everyday, you will maintain your current weight If you eat more than this, you will gain weight...If you eat less than this, or burn more calories by exercising, you will lose weight...it is as simple as that. eat less and start exercising...and don't crash diet..there is no need for that you will lose some weight eventually and get into better shape.. by the way, u need a deficit of approximately 3500 cals to lose a pound of fat.. so for example, your BMR is 2100 you go on a diet and eat only 1800 cals.. you workout in a gym and burn 200 cals.. 2100-1600 =500 so,you are creating a net deficit of 500 cals in a day..if u do this everyday for a week, 500* 7 = 3500...so u will lose one pound of weight in that week.. so u can alter those numbers to whatever suits you..remember that it will take time...but exercise has other benefits tooo...u will feel much better voverall
