Please note that up to 6,800 visas are set aside from the cap of 65,000 during each fiscal year for the H-1B1 program under the terms of the legislation implementing the U.S.-Chile and U.S.-Singapore Free Trade Agreements.

So 65000 included 6800.

I might have made a calculation mistake. Cap might fill by next weekend as stated by thread starter or no later than the friday after that.

Clearly label all H-1B cap cases, preferably in red ink, on the top margin of Form I-129. Use the following codes:

* Regular Cap (65,000 regular cap cases, not including Chile/Singapore cap cases)
* C/S Cap (Chile/Singapore H-1B1s)
* U.S. Master’s (20,000 exemption for beneficiaries with U.S. master’s or higher degrees)

Wow, the cap numbers are being exhausted fast. Considering the fact that practical cap number is 58,200 excluding Chile and Singapore numbers, the remaining available cap number is only 1,900. It is likely that the announcement of the reach of the cap is likely to take place next Monday, 11/21/2011 or a little later or earlier. Amazing.
