main point- T3 is cheaper compared to D3100 by nearly 100 dollars...but D3100 has better features when it comes to taking movies...very good video features actually compared to the canon T3...so u can use it for dual purpose photos and videos but picture quality wise I rate canon higher than nikon so i would go for canon T3 http://snapsort.com/compare/Canon-T3-vs-Nikon_D3100 this site gives a good comparision of these two cameras | ||
