Scores and percentages are not the only criteria for admission dude... SOP plays big role esp when u apply for elite schools ..also, ur co-curricular activities, extra curriculars etc.. for an average college, both of aforementioned two guys get admission I am here NOT to change any one's opinion but to express mine !! | ||

TOEFL score is like pass or fail grade only. If a university is asking for 214 and if u have 230, and your application is no different from the applicant having exact 214. GRE score does matter not TOEFL...but at the time of Visa, consular officer may find TOEFL score useful in giving visa(200+ is safe enough at the time of visa) I am here NOT to change any one's opinion but to express mine !! | ||

Need some information. Appreciate your response. Do the US universities look at TOEFL score in the same way they do for GRE score? Or just a cutoff ( like crossing a threshold score) is enough for TOEFL ? Does higher TOEFL score mean better chances of getting an admission ? |
