Mav, almost same case with some one I know. PD is July 2007, did not apply 485 until this august, got GC in Oct. In his own words, it took 2 months 10 days from the day he filed his 485 to get his GC. An idea is like a Virus. | ||

you can only go through this route after you passed the 60 dates of your processing time. Ante minimum 6 months after you file 485 subject to you are still current. BTW senetar can only query on behalf of you, and if your file is pending nothing can be done by him. It will only bring attention to your file. I did go through this route and next day mine was approved. | ||

I understand that and hope every one gets them ASAP. But be realistic as you wont be getting in next month or in next 4 months . It may minimum take 6 months to year as they need to do your BG check, go through your documentation and issue RFE's if something is missing and request a visa number and then adjudicate. Rasp..meeku maree patience lekunda pothavundhi. USCIS can handle only n number of cases and once in a while your packet m,ay be at the bottom of the file. When I applied in 2007, I did not receive the receipt for almost 3 months. | ||
