Pplsuck:How do you stop the societies from falling into this conflict at some point in time?...may be a long time horizon....but then there is no guaranteed way of avoiding this forever.... the pendulum swing may not be time proportionate......but the chance for failing is always there......and it is in sync with the create, sustain, destroy cycle represented by Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva concept......when applied to specific ways of societies.....
true, i agree, periodically societies loose balance and that's when great personalities come to reaffirm dharma....when an epoch transition is required lord himself appears to re-establish the princiles of dharma |

>>>> The status, respect and privileges of all four varnas are proportional to their penance and sacrifice. Caste conflict is the result of varnas claiming their status and privileges without following the prescribed duties of their swa-dharma. >>>>>>>>>>> How do you stop the societies from falling into this conflict at some point in time?...may be a long time horizon....but then there is no guaranteed way of avoiding this forever.... the pendulum swing may not be time proportionate......but the chance for failing is always there......and it is in sync with the create, sustain, destroy cycle represented by Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva concept......when applied to specific ways of societies..... |

Pplsuck:But for me, I don't know if there is a specific mechanism that can be adopted to avoid the downfalls......it just seems like a pendulum that has to swing one end to the other.......and probably that is how the world runs.......either way, at the extremes it gets so bad, that other side seems the only direction to move towards......things moderate and get better until it reaches the other end....and the cycle continues I guess...
i won't comare it with a pendulam...current system is just an abherration of 300 yrs in the last 5000 yrs of known civilizational history...it's like a bubble.....watch thies brief video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWn8XqYZLD4 |

dude, great article man.......aripinchaav anthey.......great insights into failings of today's global society and Dharma societies..... But for me, I don't know if there is a specific mechanism that can be adopted to avoid the downfalls......it just seems like a pendulum that has to swing one end to the other.......and probably that is how the world runs.......either way, at the extremes it gets so bad, that other side seems the only direction to move towards......things moderate and get better until it reaches the other end....and the cycle continues I guess... |

Sanman:aa rojullone slavery, capital punishment, deforestation ban chesaadu adhi sanatan dharma aena ?
slavery, deforestation ban cheyyatam o.k.....capital punishment poorthiga teeseyyatam machidi kadhu anukuntunna
Sanman:1) every time i read this article i feel like romantics like you try to brand the decentralized economies in old times due to lack of communication and transportation as sanatana dharma
decentralized economies are natural & optimal economies Sanman:2) do you have any proofs of Indian economy being different than economies of other civilizations ?
mahabharatam, ramayanam, and other books chadivithe dharma meedha kontha idea vastundhi.....economy is not everything, just a part of dharma Sanman:4) what are economic principles of dharma ?
economic principles are included in the swa-dharma of varnas.....broadly the idea is to prevent monopolization by any section or professin....live and let live is the goal |
