Apple Inc. said it will issue a software update "in a few weeks" to correct shorter-than-expected battery charge times on devices running its iOS 5 operating system, according to AllThingsD late Wednesday. After Apple released its iOS 5 system and iPhone 4s last month some users have complained of shortened battery life on devices running the operating system.
