They are sandwiched by J and KCR and they don’t have anyone (of the level of YSR) to fall back on in the whole state of Andhra Pradesh. This clearly indicate that they not only lost faith in the local leadership of Kiran Kumar, Botsa, and Chiranjeevi, but also they lost trust in Congress High Command, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi getting them any votes. The collapse of Congress party in Andhra Pradesh started just now and it will snowball in to catastropic in the next few days in my opinion. As the developments in Telangana start precipitating in to something major, we need to press harder from that side of the state. Now is the time we need make things happen, this may include us nudging and prodding the fence sitters like Peddireddi, Shajahan, Kutuhalamma, Sai Pratap, Ananta Venkatrami Reddy, Yarram Venkateswara Reddy and others. We should not waste this opportunity. Jagan has to spend time strategizing and coaxing the people we need to have on our side. Published Date : 29-Oct-2011 22:00:00 GMT Already rattled over the defection of three of its Telangana MLAs to the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, the Congress is worried over the intelligence reports that a section of its Telangana leaders are planning to float a new party to carry forward the statehood cause. There is intense speculation in political circles that Telangana Congress MPs and MLAs are preparing the ground to quit the party and launch a new outfit, to be named as “Telangana Congress Party”. At least 8 MPs, 6 Ministers and 20 MLAs are said to be ready to take the plunge. If and when that happens, the Congress government will plunge into a crisis, forcing the Centre to impose President’s rule. The TRS received a big boost with three MLAs – Somarapu Satyanarayana from Ramagundam in Karimnagar, T Rajaiah from Station Ghanpur in Warangal and Jupalli Krishna Rao from Kollapur in Mahbubnagar district joining the party on Sunday in the presence of the party Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao.
