The mention of the name Gona Gannareddy will remind all of only one person, director Gunasekhar. Apparently, Gunasekhar has been planning to do this film since few years and his close sources reveal that this has been his dream project which he wants to do on a grand scale. To those who are not aware, Gona Gannareddy happens to be from the time of Kakatiya rulers and he was the warrior during Rani Rudramma's time. That means, both the characters are critical if the film is being made. Reports from Gunasekhar camp is that a top league young hero is being approached for the title role. Since it is a period backdrop, this has to be a heavy budget film. And with the likes of Gunasekhar's flamboyance in visual appeal, the stakes would be high. For now, Gunasekhar is busy shaping up 'Nippu' with Ravi Teja. Buzz is that once it is complete, he would get onto 'Gona Gannareddy'. The big question remains, who the young hero for this film is. |
