These days all the attention of producers, distributors and fans is on crating records and breaking existing records. It is now just beating one’s own record but the target it to beat the record set by another hero. The film, story or content are never the topic of discussion. It is only records and figures of gross, net etc. The biggest box office war in this regard has been witnessed with the release of mahesh babu Dookudu. The target of Dookudu team was Ram Charan's ‘Magadheera’. From day one the figures started making the rounds showing that the collections of Dookudu were higher than that of Magadheera. The Mega fans are naturally livid and upset. They are now reeling figures to show that Magadheera grossed more than mahesh babu Dookudu despite the ticket being priced just 30 and 40 rupees at that time. Even after so many days, there is still no clarity in the figures put forth by the producer and distributor.
