I believe same blame game is at work here, and also fueled by selfish ppl including politicans. ppl with such a mentality need a scapegoat to vent their ire.. and unsocial, violent behavior will show in a mob situation sometimes as a result of this. | ||

Do you think only DB members are cast polarized? there are N no.of people outside this DB who are more polarized than DB members. Atleast our DB members are venting out in virtual world..rather than behaving as groups outside. | ||

Look at the following link (this blog was recommended by OT sometime ago), and particularly the comments that follow. http://apmediakaburlu.blogspot.com/2011/10/blog-post_14.html I believe the blogger/moderator did censor any strong opposing viewpoints, and published only ones supporting his article, and in the process the unjust crying on a particular caste. I am really pained by the lies, and propagonda being unleashed by such articles or comments. There are bad/good ppl in all castes, and no caste is perfect. There are lot of poor ppl in Kammas, and I know many kammas feel that they did not gain, and infact lost a lot as a community becoz of TPPs ascent to power. There are some facts that are true, and has nothing to do with TDPs coming to power -- they are the dominating caste in movies (some kind of natural progression as you see similar to gold merchants, or motel owners in US all belonging to a particular community) -- they were/are one of the dominating industiralists/business owning ppl -- After Brahmins, they were the prevalent caste in Telugu literature. -- most of the progressive movements during, and after independence were led by Kammas resulting in some real samajika nyayam in many fields There is no denying that there r some ppl with gajji in kammas, as is with other castes. But, please this kind of vomitting generalizing a group is bad for society, and I believe shows the character of the person doing this. |
