day time ok kaani if mufti police themselves remove fish plates and torture these people ...by night time then create havoc ... there is no system in India to control even 1 /5734 kms of tracks from Adilabad to Mbnagar or Khammam to Bidar Ap Govt is heading towards destruction ....South Central Railways under total chaos jurisdiction  Tension prevailed in all 10 Telangana districts including the State capital of Hyderabad. Unlike last Rail Roko agitation when activists were allowed to stage sit-in dharnas on the railway tracks, this time the police acted tough and did not allow the activists or leaders to go near the tracks or stations. Several leaders were taken into custody even before they reached the protest venues. Sources say that the police started picking up prominent Telangana leaders and activists from their residence since Friday midnight. Several leaders including former minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and TRS MLAs Nallala Oderu and K Sammaiah have been placed under house arrest. Lok Sabha MPs of both the Congress and TRS were arrested when they went to participate in the Rail Roko agitation. While Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar was arrested in Karimnagar districts, Madhu Yashki Goud was arrested in Nizambad. Rajya Sabha MP K Keshava Rao and Nalgonda MP K Rajagopala Reddy were arrested in Bhongir. The police took TRS MP Vijayshanti into custody when she tried to stage protest at Lakdikapul in Hyderabad. Congress MPs G Vivek and S Rajaiah were arrested in Ramagundem and Kazipet respectively. | ||
