avuna? no improvement is memory usage.

To overcome memory issue in FF closing the app and restarting is only option if you are not using flash block

As a UI Developer, i use IE to test my applications,
for browsing documentation / work related docs/spec work etc i use Firefox
for compatibility testing i have all the browsers out there

but for CCDB browsing, i use Avant Browser, it has its own advantages for me, especially, i can add image/flash disable buttons to the tool bar, and hide images and flash whenever i want :-)

Firefox is a great browser because of security features and abundant add-ons. But, it is a memory-hog. Usually the add-ons cause memory leaks. More add-ons you have, more memory it takes.

Chrome is my everyday browser. It is light-weight and fast. The best part, each tab runs as separate process in OS. If you close a tab, it frees memory.

As a web developer, I can't avoid IE. Whether I like it or not, I have to test my apps. in IE. I don't use IE for anything other than work-related sites.

Have been exclusing FF user for 4 years. but off late, I am feeling the same and just about to shift over to IE 9, FF 7 came in with a hope.

But, looks like IE is getting better. may be worth trying.
