Mama... ------------------ if you look at india ...print media ciructlation and readership increased by multifold when compared toa decade .... ------------------ May be you are right as the WEALTH in India went up by many fold in the last decade, so I guess readership might have gone up. But, in AP, surprisingly the 2 fold increase in readership coincided with Sakshi's birth, as Eenadu didn't loose its readership and a new NEWSPAPER sakshi gained a readership that is ALMOST equal to eenadu in overnight. This readership is ENTIRLY NEW which didn't exist previously. | ||

That is the reason, I am curious to know what were the circulations figures for various papers pre-Sakshi that gives total readership and after post-sakshi. I am curious to know that did AP readership really went up 2 fold AGAINST worldwide tendency (rapid decrease in newspaper readership) OR all these figures reported by Eenadu & Sakshi are BOGUS just like our movie collections? | ||

Sakshi rocks. Eenadu has lost credibility and it is not in a position to influrnce public anymore. Sakshi has more credibility in public. State needs both eenadu and sakshi for a balance of news views. The rise of Sakshi is a slap on the face of Eenadu.
