I thought so. rejection aina within a month they can leave USA legally. approval or rejection telise lope they will go back mostly.

Confirmation vasthey chaalu. approval/denial is not your problem, that is INS's problem. As i said earlier, even if they deny the application after 4 months, they still give you about 20 days time to leave usa, in a legal status. That will NOT put any problems for their next visit to usa. | ||

oka saari, nenu 3 months extenstion chesaanu. I did not hear anything from INS in thos 3 months. After three months, the person left usa. Let us say, the date he left is May 7, 2007. After about a month later, the INS approved the extension, with May 7 , 2007 date on I-94. That was the first time, I realised that even INS uses technology | ||

they should not stay for more than 181 days in 1 FISCAL year. for usa its jan -to jan or oct-oct not sure. but 181 days Ea fiscal year godaventi nataraja? Anavsaram ga complicate chesinattu vundi. When entering on visitor visa 6 months ki I94 istaru unless the visitor say explicitely that he intends to stay for a shorter period. I have applied for extension 2 months back still no response. My inlaws r in USA already for 7 months. waiting for extension approval. but next visit problem anedhi just rumour anukuntunnanu. | ||

savage, any visit is only 6 months. But, you can apply for extention, even in the first visit itself. | ||

My parents stayed for 11 months in 2003 and 10 and a half months in 2006 Jodha, Apply for extension, after 5 months. You get the confirmation of application from INS in 3 days. For the decision, they take 3-4 months, yes months. Even if they deny the extention, they give you another 20 days time to leave usa, legally | ||

NO restrictions. If they have multiple visa, they should not stay more than 6 months in one visit. If they want to, they need to file extension application, along with $300 fee. Other than that, no restrictions. | ||
