He is OT for the netizens. He is Pradeep for his colleagues, family and friends. But who is OT or otherwise known as Only Truth. He is supposed to be posting comments in my blog with the nickname Observor, well I still didn�t ask by the end of the conversation. He has his own fan base and this chat is the result of one such request from his admirers. At 32, OT reveals, �my folks tell me that if I spend the time I use on my forum for my career I would have been better off but I have no regrets.� A grad in BE Electronics from Vijayawada, OT moved to NY years back but has been more close to the State than anyone actually living here. He spends around seven hours every day, browsing, chatting, having heated arguments, making vitriolic comments and I have been told that he takes a stand and sticks to it no matter what, leaving a statement by the end of the day. He is not a saint though on the forums and he readily agrees. He says, �I�m very patient but I lose balance sometimes when people start abusing my favourite hero or for that matter any personality I tend to support. This using of profane language wasn�t there earlier, I never initiate too but if guys key in something unpalatable I reciprocate with equal intensity. Later when I look back, I�m surprised, I still wonder if it was me being so unpleasant. Once I leave the discussion board I never think about it till I am back again. No hard feelings absolutely, we begin each day on a fresh note.� OT is someone one can love/hate but can never be ignored. Ask him about his GK and OT says, �My general knowledge is not a result of a leaked source or a personal rapport with someone. My statements come from my own reading, observation, analysis and interpretation.� Multi-tasking is OT�s forte, he further elaborates on how he defends himself, �when it comes to defend our hero�we begin with supporting him. The new members in the DB have no hatred for others but when they see the others resorting to crappy language, they become part of the team.� OT defends his friends as much as he crticises them. They all have something in common. They have brought with them to the US, the mad hero worship and the culture of celebrating releases of their hero�s films. We have no inhibitions, we keep our decorum aside and look for appreciation from co-fans, says OT. He claims to have made 600 friends online after becoming an active DB member. He quips, �I had around 30 pals in Hyderabad, but when I moved here I feel I have gathered these assets and there are many Chiranjeevi fans. Apart from the discussion part we have done various stuff. Chiru fans have helped NBK fans for accommodation here. So many people have got jobs through us and a few got married through our DB. Our members also sponsor the kids whom you write about in the blog. When it comes to helping someone and I require the aid of a Chiru fan who abused me, I don�t think twice.� Well OT has converted virtual relations to real and finally ask him on what basis he supports his statement in a discussion�he says, �I�m not being pompous but it always happens when I predict something, down the line situations or events do happen that way..
