Most of the big companies pay 4 weeks before due date and 6-8 weeks after the delivery depending on normal/c-section. It is not full pay, your PTO stops accruing, and I think company matchings etc also stop during that time. However if the baby comes before the due date, then you forgo the before deliver vacation. In CA, you can take 6 week paid and 6 week unpaid short term disability (SDI) timeoff anytime before the first birthday of the baby. Dads can also avail 6 week unpaid paterntiy timeoff. Legally, you cannot terminate employment during this time. These are funded by our paycheck contributions. |

12 weeks paid maternity leave common anukuntaa kadaa ? anyway, employer nundi paycheck direct deposit avutundi + ee MetLife checks kuda intiki vasthunnayi... So kind of surprised/confused... Bonus ani enjoy cheyyalo or last time miss ayyam (by not sending any paperwork) ani feel avvalo teliyadam ledu  Don't say you don't have enough time. Now, last 2-3 weeks nundi intiki evo checks vasthunnayi from MetLife short-term disability insurance... tried calling them couple of times but i had to disconnect due to long wait times... I was not sure whether to cash them or not as they didn't really look like checks :-) sare try cheddam ani 2 days ago cell phone lo scan chesi deposit chesaa... ee roju anni clear ayyayi... so real checks ani ardham ayindi But not sure why we are getting these... or did we miss them out first time?
