Dark comedy antey movies like Scary movie, American Pie, etc which have some sort of comedy blend in regular thriller/dramas......Not Crash like movie which comes under drama/crime category only.... Crash is one of the best English movies i have seen Very intense movie - the beauty of the movie is not in the incidents per se, but the context in which they are portrayed. Marvelous screen play. Completely different characters from various cultural, racial backgrounds brought to face each other in a large city - LA - by car accidents, shootings and other accidents. Beautifully depicted the racial tension and also the cultural distance ( You can feel this in Iranian shop keeper role ) We can also see how various people are stereotyped - Blacks as carjackers, Muggers, Asians as culturally aloof & isolated people and others as well. Some people critique this, but i like this as realistic portrayal . . | ||

Loretta Devines thread: Wife of terrence howard. Abuse cheshina cop help cheyyadam and her realising the mistake of blaming on her husband for the abuse.. great.. 5. Iranian grocerer: Veedidi hilite. Gun store lo jeriginaa insult ki mood kharaab ayyi, aa kopam locksmith meeda teestaadu. Result, he looses his shop. 6. Locksmith: I was stunned by the scene when the iranian shoots this locksmith and the kid comes in between.. the shout.. iranian's realisation.. he thinks kid as 'pari'.. abbooooo.. no words 7. Ludacris: Entha yedavo, after terence howards burst that black kids like him are responsibel for the black hatred... ludacris saving the van full of chinks.. good one.. 8. Ryan Phillippe: Matt Dillon's collegue.. He is a good officer but becoz of don cheadles bro saying he like hockey.. creates a doubt.. ultimately him shooting the innocent.. realisation follows.. 9. Brendan Fraser: Not that much role but just to get his chari back, uses don cheadle as head of the police or something like that.. ok role.. 10. Korean: Veedidi comedy.. he get hit by ludacris and don's brother.. but miraculosly is saved and asks his wife to cash the check he gets on illegal chinese import.. ok one.. Bottomline is: Dont judge the people even before you know them. In this db, there's always someone watching you!! | ||
