Once the astro turfs were introduced into Hockey....India/Pak were pushed backwards. In late 80's, when India has 2 astro turf stadium...a small country like Holland had 250 astro turf stadiums at that time. | ||

okappudu IPL types lo Hockey kooda sesaru...lot of celebrities actually promoted their cities..and the tournaments were held..but not sure..if it is still going on.. for the game to get attention in India..the hockey team has to do ..what the cricket team did in 1983..that seems higly unlikely.. because kids in Australia and Netherlands hold a hockey stick before they get off their diapers..valla physique tho manam match kaalemu..endukante mana national players are from slums/lower middle class..under nourished.. so stamina levels are way low.. | ||
