Sakshi is claiming a share ALMOST equal to Eeenadu and Eenadu readership didn't become 1/2 of what it was before Sakshi. For this reason, I DON'T beleive any of the numbers that are thrown by various agencies. | ||

AW, There is SLIGHT difference between 2 cases, if reports are to be TRUE. In Sakshi's case, the REASON is GOING TO BE due to ILLEGAL activities. In Eenadu's case, it is going to be BAD business DECISIONS. | ||

he war of words between two big media groups – Eenadu and Sakshi has further intensified following the ongoing CBI and Enforcement Directorate probe into the alleged illegal assets case of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. The Eenadu group – both daily and the channels have launched an ugly war against Sakshi saying the Kadapa MP’s media house is bound to be shut down, since the Central Bureau of Investigation is moving towards attachment of his properties. It has been propagating that the time was not far off when the CBI and ED would freeze Jagan’s bank accounts and he would not be in a position to pay even salaries to the Sakshi staff. Thus, Sakshi channel and daily would be closed down soon. On Wednesday, Sakshi hit back at Eenadu. It came out with details as to how Eenadu group chairman Ch Ramoji Rao had become bankrupt with huge loans, as he was forced to sell his channels to Sony Entertainment group, to clear off all his debts. The benami investments of Reliance also did not come to his rescue. However, with shady investments of Ramoji Rao getting exposed, Sony Entertainment Limited backtracked on its proposal to purchase Eenadu channels; and Ramoji Rao is now in total debts. One should not be surprised, if he closes down all his channels and daily as he will not be in a position to pay salaries, Sakshi reported. Tit for Tat, isn’t it? |
