Key Data In Jagan Case Erased? The Central Bureau of Investigation, probing the alleged illegal assets of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, was understood to have received a big jolt when it found that certain key data pertaining to the investment flow has been missing from the hard disks seized during the raids. It is learnt that the Central Forensic Laboratory has submitted a report to the CBI, stating that the scamsters had used an intelligent software to permanently delete the crucial data from the hard disk. The special software will disable all attempts to recover the deleted files. The investigators suspect that the key details of investments into the business ventures of Jagan and the money trail could have been deleted permanently. This is a disappointing news for the CBI whose teams have seized a large number of hard disks and documents, hoping to ferret out facts regarding the illegal investments. Meanwhile, the CBI is understood to be taking the help of American and Japanese experts in analyzing the seized documents. |
