Watched 'kaNTRi' in Delaware Newark cinema and its complete paisa vasool movie from Jr. NTR. Hilarious comedy in first half and extra ordinary action sequences made this movie worth watch. Jr. NTR steal the entire show with his amazing performance. Overall movie is a must watch for Telugu cinema lovers and if you go to the movie with out any huge expectations you will definitely like this movie. You will get more than what you paid for in first half it self and the rest is bonus. Jr. NTR is simply awesome in dances and very natural in his histrionics and amazing in stunt sequences. There are many other scenes that I liked a lot and I really cannot write one scene in particular. Comedy episodes worked out very well in the movie especially entire episode in Singapore especially satires on Dharmavarapu Subramanyam from Krishna Bhagawan and Ali's getup as Astrologer and they way he proposes kisses to the girls. Bramhanandam, Sunil, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam and Ali once again prove that they are the best in comedy. Director Mehar Ramesh's story was not new but his presentation and narration style made the magic. He targeted the youth and family audiences and it worked. If you haven't seen Pokiri, Company, Bluffmaster and Just my luck and even renting them isn't a remote possibility Except for Pokiri, I don't think majority public in AP from B and C centres would have watched other movies. So is that safe to infer that it will go down well with masses in AP? | ||

If you haven't seen Pokiri, Company, Bluffmaster and Just my luck and even renting them isn't a remote possibility and on top of all of this if you want to 'kill' your time then you can watch Kantri. Ofcourse Adavai Ramudu, Siva, Pokiri didn't have much hype before release but they also didnt have total plagiarized stuff. Kantri is on the lines of Athidi not story wise but the inspirations/souces wise. Though it isn't as bad as Athidhi, it is equally disappointing. This is not the right movie that could have cashed the NEW NTR Avatar. NTR should stop and take a note of his decisions. Till date he hasn't scored a hit without Vinayak or Rajamouli. But talent wise he has loads of that. And why in the name of devil does he have to imitate Mahesh dialogue delivery when he is miles ahead of Mahesh in all the departments. Kantri just throws lot of movies flat at your face and it is your talent to recognise them. It is pretty hard not to recognise them for, all the sources are well known for telugu audience. Say "Kranti lekunda Gang unte, Gang lekunda Kranti kooda untaadu". Does that ring any bell? If no then this movie is for you and don't forget to watch Hindi Company after that. Hansika looked bubbly and her limited presence in second half is again a letdown. I can't name a single song that is well-made and I can openly say that all fights are bad though NTR utters the dialogue "Nenu famous ayyindhe naa fightlaki" in the movie. Fight master should be banned literally. All fights start with same kind of kick and same glasses shattering. Movie is not as risky as Atidhi but not as safe as other reviews said.
