here is an interesting comment from indiatimes about the two. Dear Friend: Ramdev or Anna are not related to either of us. If you do not mind the simple comparison, here it is. 1. Anna courted arrest in a dignified way. Ramdev ran away, disguised in women clothes. 2. Anna would not leave the prison until demands are met. Ramdev tried to run away from police. 3. Anna fasted until after his demands are met. Ramdev played a stunt to break his fast(see videotape of CM telling BJP leader on the phone about pre planned setup). 4. Anna told his followers to be non-violent. Ramdev wanted to raise a army of Karate kids. 5.Anna has no hoardings. Ramdev grabbed land from poor farmers and took public land from Govt for Rs.1(worth crores). 6. Anna is clean Ramdev is greedy and corrupt. 7. Anna at 74 fasted for 12 days. Ramdev , a Fake yogi below fifty, did not last even a week(even women and children fastfor 9 days in Navratris). 8.Anna's assistants are former police general. Ramdev's aide is a forger and criminal. 9. Anna keeps no arms and property. Ramdev and his aide kep licensed arms, guns, cars worth crore each and helicopter. 10. Anna is educated and sophisticated. Ramdev is a village Ganwar(idiot). Do you need more?
