After obtaining reply from other companies,the I-T department confirmed that Rate per share at Rs 10 is reasonable and acceptable and the premium amount paid is towards the human probability and proximity of the key management without expecting anything from JPPL. Hence,the company benefited by substantial sum over and above its net worth,due to the proximity and human probability which can be quantified or valued as the share premium amount of Rs 292,15,20,350 in the hands of JPPL. Hence,the total cash credits amount to Rs 292,15,20,350 received in the form of share premium can be treated as income from other sources, it said.Point by point,the I-T department dismissed reasons presented by Jagan company for investment into his companies. The I-T report also made it a point that the huge premium of 35 times over the face value per share fixed by the company when it incurring huge losses and when there was no competition for the allotment of shares is intriguing. | ||

Charging that one of the directors of Stylish Homes named as an accused in the CBI FIR in the APIIC-Emaar land deal case is not cooperating and has fled the country before the comprehensive probe could begin,the CBI authorities on Thursday are believed to have sealed the residence of former APIIC director T Ranga Rao located in Banjara Hills. Ranga Rao appeared before the CBI sleuths during their preliminary probe but by the time they could obtain search warrants after the comprehensive probe was ordered by the AP High Court,he fled the country and is reported to be in the US.His house was found locked a few days ago.All the notices sent to him were also returned because no one was available at the residence.Unable to search his premises,the CBI on Thursday sealed the premises and pasted a notice on the main door of the house asking Ranga Rao to appear before the agency whenever he returns, said the sources. |
