poor Scully wrote a mea culpa book recently. he was extremely gracious to Jobs. Sure Jobs does't mind getting fired now perhaps, he went and built Pixar and came back with all the ideas and energy. | ||

EK, That compilation of covers is a wonderful recap  My fascination with Jobs started after I read John Sculley's 'from pepsi to apple'. Ironic, as the book does not portray Jobs in a very good light -but even in Sculley's account of the events leading to Steve's exit from Apple, Steve's brilliance shone thru .. especially in the ad campaigns against the big blue and so onaa chal ke tujhe main leke chalu ik aise gagan ke tale jahan gam bhi na ho, aansoo bhi na ho,bas pyaar hi pyaar pale | ||

I still remember the Fortune magazine cover with Stevio when they went public! That was actually the first Fortune magazine I ever read. 1980. I was so confused when I read that article. I never saw a computer that time. the computers i saw pictures of, took the whole buildings! and an AC Plant. This guy says he gives an operating system, IO, Basic etc etc less than 1000. Frankly I thought it's too expensive for a bulky calculator! The dependable TI has a calculator that can interpret Basic line by line, so why do we need this bulk, I thought. If a computer takes a whole bldg, the calc is going to need a Table, why are we going in the opposite direction, I thought. | ||
