Kurrokurru.. some of them already told..but to summerise...Your hdl are low....ldl shld be lessthan 100 if there were no riskfactors(family hx), But worried abt your low HDL... you should keep it high..as this good cholesterol works in removing LDL... so eventually if HDL low..there will be increase in LDL in the future...
Mee wt ekkuvaga undi( mee height ento teliyadu) but 2 gud things you can do to improve ur HDL levels in next 9 months... Do exercise(brisk walking, loose some wt)eat omega3 fatty acid foods(google it..u find pleanty)...like walnuts, fishoil etc...follow healthy diet... so far nothing to worry... try to follow those as much as you can..

Eat 2-3 tbl spooons of avocado every day.

Okay, you need to do one more thing- Walk 30 minutes

disclaimer: I do not know any medicine. Only medical advice I give is to ask people to seek medical advice from a doctor.

having gotten that out of the way:

cholesterol numbers cannot be seen in isolation. you need to see it in a over all perspective, possible only by a cardiologist. try to squeeze a specialist referral from your Primary Physician (if you need one) and see a Cardiologist.

Also, important are: Are the levels rising over the years, or you do not know. DO you know what your parents/siblings levels are? Has any one in your family died of heart disease?

Based on the above factors, some numbers are ok for some, and not ok for others. the gold test is the stress test and angiogram. if those results are corroborating a high cholesterol as a factor, then your Cardiologist will let you know what needs to be done.

As for cholesterol, what is more important is what you are not eating, than eating. So, start eating fish, fish oil, legumes, flax, avocado, walnuts/almonds, berries, brown rice, salmon, chick peas, guava, garlic, cinnamon, vinegar, turmeric, olive oil, etc etc. Watch your BP. Do not hold back on fats. Walk 30-40 mins a day, get a dog if you can! Dogs do something miraculous to your heart and BP!

See a Cardiologist.

my sugar levels were @ 5.7 which is the exact border line. how to reduce sugar levels ani research chestunte i came across the cinamom tablets.

can anyone tell me what are the other ways to reduce the blood sugar levels?

god..too much bhayapettoddu sodara.. his LDL 108 is not bad, below 100 ku teste super.

Triglycerides also not bad, oka 10 mg taggite chalu.

Like most of Desi's HDL is low. If you are non-veg, roju 2 fish oil capsules, or oka can Sardines kummeyyandi, will take care of it.

Avoid yellow portion in eggs and red meats. White meat is better. Oatmeal cup a day will help maintain cholestrol.
